The result of more than thirteen years of field work, Adrian Hepworth’s Costa Rica: A Journey through Nature portrays the extraordinary wildlife and landscapes of Costa Rica. Turn the pages and the tropics come alive: the still waters of a river pool harbor a gliding shark … cerulean waterfalls cast an unworldly spell … a snail with luminous blue flesh glows in the darkness … a male quetzal displays its long, jewel-like feathers … a jaguar lopes along a beach in the early morning light. The stunning photographs and accompanying text take the reader on a journey through the sublime beauty of Costa Rica. |
